Pistachio Cranberry Crisps: 8/10
Trader Joe’s has a wide variety of these crisps that are amazing for charcuterie boards. I love them because of the texture and the fun flavors. They are not too hard or crunchy, but still have a crisp to them. These Pomegranate pistachio crisps were good and an incredibly unique flavor combo, but were not my all time favorite crisp flavor (I love the fig and olive the best so far but I did like these better than the pumpkin flavor). The main reason why these didn’t score higher is because they are very sweet. Both this one and the pumpkin flavor had a fruit loop sort of taste to them. I paired them with the blueberry and cranberry chèvre which I really enjoyed and it was more of a dessert on my cheese board than a savory bite. I would buy these again, but serve them on a charcuterie board with a variety of crisps and crackers. Each box is $3.99.
