Updated: 7 days ago

One of the most common questions I get from my followers is how to use the Speculoos Cookie Butter from Trader Joe's. Cookie Butter is one of my favorite ingredients to add to almost any dessert! I absolutely love Rice Krispie Treats so I made a Cookie Butter version and the result was drool worthy. Here is the recipe below. Let me know if you make these Cookie Butter Rice Krispies and what you think. I know they will be a new favorite!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Speculoos Cookie Butter

  • 4 tbsp butter

  • 5 cups mini-marshmallows

  • 5 cups Rice Kirspie cereal

Directions:

  1. Cook the butter in a medium sized pot on low, make sure not to burn the butter or else it will brown.

  2. Once the butter is melted, add your mini-marshmallows.

  3. As the marshmallows begin to soften and melt, add the cookie butter and stir until the texture of the combination is smooth and melted together.

  4. Once the mixture is finished take off the heat and add the rice krispies cereal.

  5. Stir the mixture together until the cereal and cookie butter mixture comes together.

  6. Add the Cookie Butter Rice Krispie Treats into a pan and let sit for 30 minutes.

These treats are absolutely delicious and one of the main recipes I suggest to my followers when they ask how to use this wonderful Cookie Butter from Trader Joe's!
