In the mood for some bite sized summer treats? These mini pop tarts are so easy to make and are the perfect size to satisfy your sweet tooth. Hope you enjoy!
Also here is a video of me making these cute, tasty treats!
Trader Joe's Pie Crust (I used the leftover pie crust after making the cherry pie earlier)
Trader Joe's Strawberry Jam
1/4 Powdered Sugar
1 tbs Milk (I used oat milk)
Cut your pre-made pie crust into small rectangles (mine were about 1.5 inch by 1 inch).
Place a small dollop of your strawberry jam onto the bottom of your poptart.
Add your top layer of pop tart to close everything up.
Crimp your edge to get that classic pop tart look!
I added a little egg wash on top right here, but it's not necessary.
Cook your mini pop tarts for 12 minutes at 350 degrees.
While those are cooking, make your icing by adding your powdered sugar, milk, and jam. I used about 2 tsp of jam here (you can add more of any of these ingredients to get the consistency that you want).
Once the mini pop tarts are cooked, add your icing and sprinkles! Enjoy!
