Here is a list of my top 5 Trader Joe’s winter holiday dessert items in no particular order:
Mini Dark Chocolate Mint Stars
These bite-sized chocolate stars were one of my favorite sweet snacks this holiday season and is why they earned a 9.5/10. Stick these in the freezer for a tasty frozen treat.
2. Candy Cane Joe-Joe’s Ice Cream
This ice cream was the perfect mix of peppermint and cookies and cream. Two of my favorite flavors! There were plenty of chocolate Joe Joe pieces mixed in making this ice cream a solid 9/10. You can learn more about this ice cream on their website here.
3. Dark Chocolate Covered Peppermint Joe Joe’s
First you have your peppermint Joe Joe (oreo like cookie) THEN you cover it with a thick layer of dark chocolate AND coat it with peppermint crumbs? Count me in. These cookies were definitely one of the best desserts from Trader Joe’s this season. They are extremely decadent and rich. One cookie is plenty! If you can stop yourself there.
4. Dark Chocolate Orange
Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate Orange would make the perfect stocking stuffer or neighborly gift. This chocolate orange breaks apart into perfect orange slices just like a real orange! But it’s chocolate so immediately 100x better. Check out the video of this orange from the Instagram post below to see how to break it apart perfectly.
5. Almond Danish Kringle
The Danish Almond Kringle is one of my all-time FAVORITE products from Trader Joe’s. Once baked, this Kringle is such a warm, sweet, fluffy, heavenly treat. If they weren’t available at TJ’s, I would be ordering more on their website and shipping them to my doorstep daily.
I loved trying every holiday TJ’s dessert this winter. I cannot wait to see what they will bring back next year!
