Trader Joe's is my favorite grocery store - that much should be pretty obvious by now! I love the easy-to-navigate stores, the seasonal products, and how friendly the employees are. When I first started shopping there, one of my biggest questions was "Can you order from Trader Joe's online?"
Unfortunately, the answer to this is no. I believe there used to be an option for a short period of time where they implemented a third party delivery service, but have since shut it down. And recently, TJ's addressed this topic in one of their podcasts. They talked about focusing on the in store experience and how creating a delivery service would take away from what they have built up and focused on since the founding of Trader Joe's.
So while it may not be an option at the moment, I hope that Trader Joe's reconsiders in the future. I would absolutely love the ability to have some of my favorite items delivered directly to my door, and due to recent events, think this would be a great option.
Luckily there are programs out there that will do allow you to deliver straight to your door like Instacart, Hello Fresh, and my personal favorite Thrive Market. Instacart is a great option when ordering from your normal grocery stores like Costco, Sprouts, or Safeway and they can delivery the groceries straight to your door. Thrive is such a great option because of the great selection of brands at large discounts and the range of dietary restriction friendly products.
So for now, it is definitely sad that TJ's doesn't offer an option to deliver, but I am hoping that this will change in the near future! I believe that many shoppers desperately want this option and think this will help to expand their business - they could even utilize the different IG accounts dedicated to TJ's to publicize this option.
